A BRIEF REVIEW OF STEEL FIBER SELF-COMPACTING CONCRETE IN RIBBED SLAB

چکیده

The use of Steel Fiber Reinforced Self-Compacting Concrete (SCFRC) as structural elements is seen favorable alternative to solve typical issues complex reinforcing spacing and compaction in normal reinforced concrete. primary benefit SCFRC that it can be easily poured in-situ, filling corners formwork gaps between bars reinforcement with its own weight. SCFRC's performance constantly being investigated because superior engineering mechanical properties. fibers added the mix improved hardened properties self-compacting concrete terms tensile strength, ductility, toughness, energy absorption capacity, cracking resistance. This study reviews previous research on slab structures an emphasis flexural performance. Thus, knowledge could provide guidelines for academia industry players materials behavior elements.
